oh my god! my first DD! Thank you SOOOO SO SO MUCH =SeraphicTragedy for suggesting and ^RockstarVanity for featuring. It means so much! Have I murdered our love?" -Earthquake by The Used- MODEL: me SCAN: me EDIT: not much, done by me. FEATURED:  [link]  [link]Well how i got this effect with very little editing... First i laid plastic wrap on the scanner, then i rubbed aloe all over it (yes i learned that aloe tastes not so good..) i turned off all the lights, printed out the scan, then scanned it into my computer. After that i layered on one of my stock images [link] from ~neonNINJA-stock (my stock account) THIS IS MY ARTWORK NOT YOURS, DO NOT STEAL, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PRINTS CONTACT ME i was inspired by ~YessKnox to go smoosh my self against a scanner once again. Great scanography works by others in the DA community:     My personal fave. other scanography pieces, by my self:   Daily DeviationGiven 2009-09-18The suggester says, "The concept was executed horrifically and makes me feel trapped". -- PLUR  This will be my first ever critique thing, since I've never done one before, and can't actually use the feature.
I didn't even read the title, and the first thing I thought of was 'This looks like a movie poster for a horror film'. It just grabbed my attention. And I've never actually seen this done before, the whole putting your face on a copier, and then scanning it back into the computer, so that was really interesting. I love the idea of putting plastic wrap over the scanner, and then aloe. Plastic wrap - 3.59 Getting aloe in your mouth for the sake of art - priceless. This definitely blows me away. Gosh, I hope I did that right ;D |
